Big news in Pakistan’s politics! The Pakistan Peopleโ€™s Party (PPP) has won four out of six Senate seats in the recent by-elections. Let’s break it down in simple terms.

So, in Islamabad’s National Assembly, there was a vote for a Senate seat. PPP’s candidate, Yousaf Raza Gilani, won with lots of votes – 204 to be exact! The other candidate got fewer – only 88.

In Sindh, PPP’s candidates Jam Saifullah Dharijo and Aslam Abro also won. They got 58 and 57 votes, which means a lot of people supported them.
